À la naissance de sa fille Sooah en 2019, Denis a voulu faire le point et prendre un tournant musical. Désormais, il jouera principalement sa musique. L’album Une Vie est une célébration, à travers l’émotion et les grands espaces. 

De son précédent album sorti en 2020, Jacobien Tamsma, manageuse historique de Philip Catherine, écrivait : « Un album d’une grande beauté, un souffle comme une simple acceptation de la vie… une tranquillité sublimée. »

Après un concert à Paris, Denis a reçu un magnifique message : « Je ne savais pas à quel point j’en avais besoin. Votre musique évoque le sentiment d’une maison perdue, d’un Beyrouth détruit auquel je devais dire au revoir, et d’une mélancolie que je ne peux pas mettre en mots. »

C’est cela que Denis recherche désormais, une tranquillité sublimée, guérir les âmes. Une forme de grâce. Au-delà des genres musicaux, au-delà des continents ou des contingences de l’industrie musicale. Une émancipation par l’émotion et l’élégance. 

Denis est aussi ambassadeur « compagnon » de MSF (Médecins sans frontières) dont il a composé l’hymne.

Le concert Une vie est cette célébration, celle de la vie et de la beauté. 

Il est accompagné de son quartet, pour jouer sa musique ainsi que des musiques de films coréens tels que Parasite, Mademoiselle, Decision To Leave, Old Boy…

At only 23, Rivo has over 10 million streams combined from over 10 singles signed to labels such as Armada, Sony, Warner or Wagram. The young producer’s latest Dance Pop track'Break You Down (feat. Scartlett)’ entered the Top 200 German airplay charts. The official music video, directed by Arthur Chays, was adapted from a multi-award-winning animated short, and is now on rotation on several international TV networks. Rivo was also DJ Mag.fr and Clubbing TV’s artist of the week in February.

Back in Fall 2019, Rivo went on a tour through Asia. In 2020, he released a remix of ‘Born Alone’ by Madalen Duke, which was synced in the popular Netflix film ‘The Old Guard’ with Charlize Theron. Craig Walker & The Cold was born out of mutual respect for each other’s work. With Craig fronting the aforementioned acts and having a colorful string of collaborations (Bookashade, Phoebe Kildeer, The Avener – Fade Out Lines) under his belt he enlisted multi-instrumentalist Erik. A musician in his own right, he might be best known for his songwriting collaborations with a diverse collection of artists ranging from Eminem to Celine Dion to Pink.

Electric Shoes, their debut album offering is a very personal record. that takes the listener on a journey from the flats of 1980’s Dublin to the brutalist sunrise of a post-club morning in Berlin.

ABOUT CRAIG WALKER

Front-man Craig Walker has been releasing music since his debut album with Power of Dreams on Polydor Records in 1990. Power of Dreams had great success in Ireland, the UK and Japan, releasing 4 albums over a hectic 6 year period.

Craig went on to join Archive in 2000 and released 3 albums to huge acclaim around Central and Eastern Europe. Since then Craig has collaborated with a number of acts including Mineral, Booka Shade, dance outfit WUSA as well as Them There.

A Them There track, “Fade Out Lines” co-written by Craig and Phoebe Kildeer was reworked by The Avener and has recently gone 6 times platinum in France and was a radio #1 in more than 30 countries around the world.

ABOUT THE COLD

The Cold is Canadian producer and multi-instrumentalist Erik Alcock. Erik has written, performed or produced with acts including Eminem, Celine Dion, Kanye West, Pink and many more. Craig and Erik boast an incredible tally of more than 2 billion streams of songs they have either performed, written or produced on.
